Cookie Policy

Version v.20260515  ·  Published May 15, 2026  ·  Effective May 22, 2026

The Service operator ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on 'LoudClip' (the "Service") to provide, protect, and improve our SaaS platform. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

1. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files downloaded to your browser when you visit a website. They allow the server to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and secure your browsing experience.

Note: Your cookie consent preference is stored in your browser's localStorage (not as a cookie) under the key cookie_consent. It persists until you clear your browser data.

2. How LoudClip Uses Cookies

LoudClip does not collect or store your video files on our servers. We use cookies exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Authentication & Security (Strictly Necessary): Verifying your account session so you remain logged in across pages. Legal basis: contract performance — no consent required.
  • Language Preference (Functional): Remembering your selected language (Korean / English) between visits. Legal basis: user consent.
  • Player & UI Preferences (Functional): Storing your sidebar state and media player settings (volume, playback speed, subtitle size). Legal basis: user consent.
  • Fraud Prevention (Strictly Necessary): Protecting account integrity and payment security via session verification. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

3. Cookie Inventory

The following table lists all cookies set directly by LoudClip (first-party):

4. Third-Party Cookies

The following third parties may set cookies when you use related features:

  • Google (OAuth social login): Google sets authentication cookies on its own domain when you sign in with Google. These are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Creem (payment checkout): Creem may set session and fraud-prevention cookies during the Lite Plan and Standard Plan checkout flow. These are governed by Creem's own cookie and privacy policies.

5. Your Choices & Consent Withdrawal

You may accept or decline optional (functional) cookies at any time. Strictly Necessary cookies cannot be disabled as they are essential for the Service to operate.

To withdraw your cookie consent (re-display the consent banner): clear your browser's localStorage data for this site. The consent banner will reappear on your next visit.

You can also manage cookies via your browser settings:

  • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Apple Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data
  • Samsung Internet: Settings > Privacy and security > Delete browsing data > Cookies and site data

Please note: Disabling essential cookies will prevent login and other core features from functioning correctly.

6. Policy Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or applicable regulations. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website at least 7 days before the changes take effect. In the event of any conflict between the Korean and English versions, the Korean version shall prevail.
